The things from my past are meant to stay in my past,
fears conquered, lessons learned
never look back
never have i wished to change any aspect of my past,
it has made me who i am, and who i will become
my past has let me learn from my mistakes personally, harsh at times
but never will i look back
never will i turn my head back while walking foreward
accident waiting to happen
the past led to my future, let me learn my likes, dislikes
led me to wait 7 years
with not a single promise on my fingertips
no brush of the lips
but the wait is worth it, steeped in maturity
growth, pain, pride, fear,
although i’m far from perfect,
true love
